Value Added Capabilities
Moraine Plastics has developed a range of value-added capabilities to complement our core competency of injection molding. Many projects lend themselves to a “work cell” approach in which molded components are also assembled, decorated, machined or packaged in-line at the molding machine. In other instances the molded parts, along with other non-molded components, can be routed to our finishing area for final assembly. These “turn-key” manufactured solutions offer procurement efficiencies and substantial savings to our customers.
Assembly
Our incentivized assemblers are a specialized group of individuals who support the company’s stated goals of maximizing productivity while maintaining the highest standards for quality. Most assembly operations are conducted in work cells in which a single operator has full responsibility for the finished product. Assembly methods may include mechanical assembly, machining, solvent bonding and ultrasonic welding.

Decorating
Moraine Plastics has the equipment and experience to decorate plastic parts by a variety of methods including hot stamping, silk screening and pad printing. In addition, we are proficient in developing applications for in-mold decorating.
Component Sourcing & Procurement
Many customers depend on Moraine Plastics to manufacture complete assemblies which may include the sourcing and procurement of non-molded components.
